Description
I had the opportunity to design the user interface for ISRO (URSC)'s AI chatbot, "ISRO Space Agent." This chatbot is tailored for children, allowing them to explore their curiosity about space by asking questions about space and receiving accurate and engaging responses. The primary objective was to create an intuitive, visually appealing, and kid-friendly interface that simplifies interaction with the chatbot.
Project Overview
The ISRO Space Agent is an AI chatbot designed for kids to explore space-related topics through an engaging and child-friendly interface. The goal was to make learning about space fun and accessible for young minds.
Key Features
Child-Friendly Design: Bright colors, playful icons, and simple layouts make it easy and fun for kids to navigate and interact with the chatbot.
Educational Content: Information is presented in a way that kids can understand, supporting their curiosity and learning about space.
Design Process
Identifying Our Audience - Confirmed that kids aged 6-12 are the primary users, focusing on their interests and interaction preferences
Online Research and Insights - Researched how children interact with digital learning tools and analyzed existing AI chatbots for kids.
Sketching Ideas - Created low-fidelity wireframes to map out the basic layout and user flow, ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience.
Refining Through Feedback - The design was refined through multiple iterations based on internal team feedback.
Bringing It to LifeDeveloped high-fidelity designs with vibrant colors, playful icons, and interactive elements that make learning about space fun and engaging for kids.

Design Highlights
Home Screen: Information is presented in a way that's easy for kids to understand, supporting their curiosity and learning about space.
Chat Screen: Designed a straightforward chat interface where kids can easily ask their space-related questions. Included predefined search suggestions to guide their inquiries. Kids can listen to answers and express their opinions with like and dislike buttons, as well as leave comments.
