If you’re not investing in strategic content and targeted ads for your education business, you’re not just missing out—you’re silently handing your audience to someone else. In a digital landscape where attention spans are short and trust is hard-won, relying on word of mouth or the occasional post is the fastest way to ensure your classes stay half-empty.

In today’s fast-paced digital world, simply offering a great product isn’t enough. If your business isn't visible and consistently engaging with the right audience, you might as well be invisible. This is exactly the challenge faced by Robbo, a Finnish franchise providing robotics education to kids, which opened a branch in Vienna, Austria. Despite being part of an international network, Robbo had to handle its own local marketing efforts in a new market. Our task was clear: create and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to promote their robotics courses through social media and targeted ads—without the luxury of physical presence in Austria.

Project Overview

Robbo is a Finnish educational franchise that offers robotics classes for children. With the launch of their new location in Vienna, Austria, they faced the challenge of promoting their courses locally without a physical presence. We were tasked with creating a strategic approach to social media marketing and targeted advertising, aiming to engage both local parents and kids interested in technology and robotics education.
The goal was simple but crucial: attract families to enroll their children in Robbo's courses, particularly in programs like Lego Robotics, Minecraft Modding, and coding courses. We needed to increase brand awareness, boost enrollment, and drive conversions, all while maintaining consistency with Robbo's global brand.

Challenges and Our Solutions

No Physical Presence in Austria
The first challenge was the lack of a local presence in Austria, which meant we had to rely on remote collaboration and the available materials in German. To compensate, we created high-quality graphics and video content based on previously shot materials, ensuring that everything was relevant and localized for the target audience.
Adapting Content for Different Educational Tracks
Robbo offers various courses that appeal to different audiences. We conducted a detailed analysis to understand the unique selling points of each course (Lego, Minecraft, and coding) and created tailored creative content for each. This approach helped us effectively communicate with distinct segments of the audience, ensuring that the messaging resonated with parents and children alike.
Optimizing Ads and Content Strategy
To maximize engagement and conversion rates, we implemented a strategy of regular testing for ads and creatives, including geographical targeting tests. By experimenting with different messaging, visuals, and formats, we identified the most effective approaches to reach our audience.
Rebranding and Optimizing Social Media Accounts
One of the core elements of the strategy was the rebranding of Robbo’s social media profiles. We redesigned the navigation, made the profiles visually appealing, and created informative highlights to address frequently asked questions. This streamlined experience made it easier for potential customers to find relevant information and engage with the brand.

Key Results

Increased Organic Reach and Engagement
By consistently posting high-quality content, we saw a significant increase in organic views, clicks, and interactions. Our content strategy focused on making educational posts visually appealing while providing value through relevant information. This approach built trust and strengthened Robbo’s brand presence on social media.
Effective Conversion from Small Courses to the Main Robotics Program
One of the key objectives was to guide families from smaller introductory courses to the main, comprehensive robotics program. By nurturing the audience with targeted content, we were able to increase conversions from these smaller courses to the larger program, effectively growing Robbo’s customer base.
Improved Visual and Informational Quality
Our efforts to optimize Robbo’s social media profiles led to a noticeable improvement in their overall visual and informational quality. Parents now had an easier time understanding the value of the courses, which significantly contributed to a positive shift in brand perception.
Regular Consultations and Process Optimization
We conducted regular consultations with the school’s leadership, helping them optimize their content planning process and improve their lead management system. This ongoing support ensured that Robbo’s marketing efforts were continuously improving and adapting to new challenges.
