Contigo Animal Co. a nonprofit organization committed to rescuing animals affected by the ongoing conflict in Cauca, Colombia, needed a website to enhance their fundraising efforts and boost awareness of their mission. The goal was to design a site that would effectively communicate the urgency of their work while providing a seamless donation experience to maximize the support for animals in need.
My Role:
Web Design & Development: Developed a tailored landing page using Framer, aimed at building empathy and trust to drive donations.
Content Strategy: Crafted a clear, engaging content structure that highlighted the organization’s mission, featured stories of rescued animals, and presented donation options.
Donation Integration: Implemented the Wompi payment gateway to streamline the donation process for users.
Process:
First, I gathered all the necessary information for the website, including sections, content, and resources such as images, videos, and branding assets. I ensured everything was properly organized to align with the organization's identity.
Then, I designed and developed the website, keeping the client updated throughout the process so they could follow the progress and provide feedback when necessary.
Once the site was ready, we conducted a thorough review to ensure everything met their expectations, making final adjustments as needed.
Finally, the site was launched and indexed, and the appropriate analytics tools were installed. After the launch, I provided support for minor updates and corrections to the site.
Tools Used:
Framer: For designing and developing the website.
Wompi: For integrating a smooth and secure online donation system.
Outcome:
Delivered a compelling, user-friendly landing page that streamlined the donation process, leading to increased contributions.
The website helped Contigo Animal Co. effectively convey their mission and build trust with prospective donors.
