Antique Arena needed a scalable online auction system for fine art and estate antiques. The platform had to handle live bidding, buyer/seller management, and automated shipping, all while maintaining a polished, trustworthy UI for high-value items.
My Role & Contributions
Built and maintained the auction management system using PHP and Laravel.
Integrated a shipping API so buyers could automatically receive accurate delivery quotes and track shipments after winning bids.
Developed admin dashboards for auctioneers to manage listings, monitor bids, and finalize sales.
Optimized the bidding engine for real-time responsiveness and fairness across multiple simultaneous auctions.
Impact & Results
Enabled Antique Arena to scale from local events to fully digital global auctions.
Reduced manual shipping overhead by 80% through automated API integration.
Improved buyer satisfaction and trust by ensuring instant invoicing + shipment tracking.
