In my journey, I have come to accept this fact:
When I want to accomplish a goal, I must align my mind, body, and heart—which i approach holistically.
Something that continues to stick out from my last 3 years of cognitive behavioral therapy is that in order to combat the crippling symptoms of my depression, I must still start. I must endure. I must hack my own brain and tell it what to do next. Reminds me a lot of what Paul said:
Once again, Scripture proves to be…well…Scripture.
It’s true.
It’s true.The only way to get ourselves to the place we want to be (which absolutely cannot include our flawed human idea of perfection—or any other idea of perfection) is to start heading that direction, and then… endure.
Endurance implies pain.
& there will be some.
God said so.
But, He also showed us that endurance is possible.
He’s still broadcasting it.
Just look at yourself.
So, keep going.
So, keep going.You can do anything with Jehovah’s help!
