Engineer on Synthetics covering everything from client-side art tooling all the way to service back-end, engine and compliance. I’ve covered things like converting a codebase to Linux, ensuring we use the latest secure standards and isolation practices, as well as integrating with many Azure services.

Just a small list of things I did!

o Service: Developed a scalable service to produce ML consumable data from synthetic art. Involved training and collaborating with several people so they could own it. This includes working in the Azure Ecosystem making extensive use of Azure Functions (Serverless), AKS, Batch Compute, and CosmosDB (amongst many other technologies).

o Government: Experienced with working in the Azure Government (primarily in Fairfax) and collaborating with those that had IL4/IL5 access.

o Build and DevOps: Built Pipelines to produce binaries that were secure and compliant for us in production pipelines via Azure Devops and Github. Extensive integration with CMake, .NET, and Python to build a complete solution.

o Compliance: Introduced Security baselines around Synthetics product to enable shipping. Ranging from Code Signing, Binary Scanning, FOSS and Licensing Compat, etc.

o DCC: Developed a plugin for Autodesk Maya to streamline Art to Data pipeline utilizing Pixar’s USD as a vehicle. Also built a Houdini plugin earlier on.

o Extensive cross-team collaboration, with scientists, developers, and artists to produce a product desired by major automotive companies, government, and other.
