First time building with Lovable,

First time building with Lovable, and I ended up taking it much further than I expected.
I built STILL, a fictional hair studio in Zürich designed around one idea: make the journey from “I need a haircut” to “you’re booked” feel as considered as the salon itself.
Instead of building another standard salon website with a booking widget attached, I treated the whole experience as one continuous digital journey.
The homepage follows the haircut itself:
Arrival → Consultation → Cut → Falling Hair → Shape → Precision → Mirror → Result → Booking.
Scissors become part of the scroll narrative. Hair strands fall and move through the composition. Typography gets physically “cut.” Imagery transforms as the haircut progresses. The interface gradually moves from organic and expressive to structured and calm.
Then the experience connects directly into the actual product:
• Service selection • Staff selection • Real availability • Date and time booking • Customer details • Confirmation • Customer booking management • Owner appointment system
The goal was to combine Awwwards-style art direction with real product UX, instead of sacrificing one for the other.
For my first time using Lovable, I’m genuinely impressed by how far the platform can be pushed when you treat the prompt like a real product and creative-direction specification rather than asking it to simply “build a website.”
Built with Lovable.
STILL — Good hair. A quieter hour.
