Tacket: Local-First AI Chat Library & Browser Extension

Tacket gives AI conversations a life beyond the chat window. I built a local-first Mac app and Chrome extension that preserve complete threads from ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini as reusable local files.

The workflow Capture a supported conversation as a .tacket bundle, search a local transcript library, and transfer the raw thread into Codex, Claude Code, or the clipboard without reducing it to a summary. The app also supports exact local imports and reviewed desktop captures.

Built around privacy Tacket is free and open source, with no accounts, analytics, telemetry, or backend that can see chats. The project is pre-release; macOS is available, with Windows planned.
