The rotoscope technique required painting 300 frames by hand in oil paint, together with four artists, then scanning these frames and handing them to a video editor who pieced them together and combined them with a soundtrack made especially for the video, the process took about 3 months and the collaboration of 5 individuals.

Slow, meditative, and collaborative in nature, these elements show up time and time again in Fatma's work. The pieces start as inspirations, ideas, that are transformed to sketches, and are then embroidered by hand, and handed over to skilled artisans.
