Bann'd Labs AI Chatbot



The Problem:

Bann'd Labs sought to provide an immersive educational experience for users interested in Black history, financial literacy, and policy education. They required an interactive tool that was both informative and engaging to facilitate this experience on their platform.

The Process:

1. Persona Development: Created "Harmony", an AI chatbot persona that serves as a knowledgeable and approachable guide to Black history.
2. Visual Representation: Generated an AI image of Harmony using ChatGPT's DALL-E 3, ensuring her appearance was welcoming and situated in a library setting to reinforce the educational theme.
3. Chatbot Introduction: Designed a warm and inviting chat widget greeting to engage visitors upon interaction, setting the tone for a helpful and educational experience.

4. User Interface: Leveraged Voiceflow to develop a chatbot with a user-friendly interface, featuring an appealing color palette that complements the Bann'd Labs branding.

5. Interactive Features: Integrated two key functions in the chatbot using Voiceflow:

1. General Inquiry: Users can ask Harmony any question related to Black history and receive informative responses.
2. Story Mode: A feature that allows users to enter the name of a historical figure and have Harmony narrate their life story in an engaging manner.

The Solution:

Implemented a Voiceflow and OpenAI's GPT-4 powered AI chatbot that enhances Bann'd Labs' educational offerings. Harmony, the chatbot, invites users to interactively explore Black history, contributing to a richer, more accessible learning environment. This solution aligns perfectly with Bann'd Labs' commitment to education and empowerment through knowledge.
