Security Drift in Iterative AI-Assisted Development: a sole-author research study introducing the Security Drift Index (SDI), which measures how a codebase's vulnerability profile shifts across successive AI-assisted iterations. Across 15 FinTech scenarios and 150 code snapshots, the study documents silent vulnerability accumulation and recommends security checkpoints between iterations rather than only at the end. Currently under peer review.
