YAI Singapore: gamified youth AI hackathon site

YAI is a youth AI hackathon for students aged 7–24 with S$35,550 in prizes and a Demo Weekend in Singapore. We designed and built its site as a game: the YAI logo is a 3D pixel maze drawn live in the browser, with a new maze every round and a boss fight on top; a HUD tracks level, XP and a registration countdown; and PRESS START leads into three worlds for primary, secondary and university students. Behind it sit online team registration with payment and an admin console for the organisers.
