Vintage Illustration For Band Merchandise | Cherry Cinema

Cherry Cinema is an 80s inspired  indie pop-rock band from Norway. They wanted to create an illustration for their tour merch.

This illustration design represents a snippet of their lyrics "Caught Up In You" which were taken from one of their songs. From this, three main ideas emerged and formed the basis of this illustration. First, is cherry character as a symbol of the band's identity itself. Second, is musical scale shaped stem as a symbol of their medium for expressing messages. And last but not least, is glimmers as a symbol of the emotions poured out by the song.
