A fictional makers’ market brief: replacing content in MarketRoster
I created MarketRoster, a US$59 Framer template. This walkthrough shows the content decisions a designer would make for one organiser’s client website. Alderwick Makers’ Market, its trader and venue are fictional examples, not a client commission or completed custom Framer site. The boards pair unchanged screenshots of the published template with proposed replacement content.
Homepage: make the brief specific Use “Alderwick Makers’ Market” with “Meet the makers. Plan your market day.” Confirm the real venue, brand assets and organiser contact before publishing. A generic market introduction becomes a specific promise: browse the stalls and check the next date.
Trader: replace the whole record The fictional Briar Kiln Studio example includes its name, Crafts category, short description, story, products and a unique slug. Review the directory card and individual profile together. Use approved images and links; don’t publish sample identities as real traders. The local content sheets are working examples, not a validated CMS import package.
Event: agree the editing responsibility The fictional example is Saturday 14 November 2026, 10:00–15:00 Europe/London, at Alderwick Demo Hall. Confirm dates and literal local opening times with the organiser. Assign someone to update cancellations and remove expired dates manually.
Scope before quoting MarketRoster provides trader profiles and an event schedule in two native Framer CMS collections. Booking, ticketing, payments and application processing need separate solutions. Do not promise automatic date expiry. Before a real client launch, replace demo content, review destinations and metadata, check the client’s approved content, and agree ongoing maintenance.
US$59 one-off, inclusive of applicable VAT at checkout, for one end project including one client site. Each additional project requires a licence. Framer hosting and domains are separate. No live product changes were made for this demonstration.
