The brief I gave myself A solo colourist, one chair, 3 to 5 hour appointments, a Saturday rush and a no-show problem that leaves an empty chair. She can't answer "can I book?" while she has foils on, so the site has to do it for her.

Consult-first rule for new clients who want big colour changes

Two payment options: half deposit through Polar, or pay at the salon with a confirm tap 48 hours ahead. Unconfirmed slots are released

Reschedule and cancel rules by deposit and notice period, with automatic refunds

Waitlist that offers a freed slot and refills it

Confirmation, reminder and aftercare emails through Resend, with calendar files

Telegram alerts for the owner through n8n

Customer sign-in with email link, Google, Microsoft or Apple, so bookings follow the client's email

Gift cards and a stamp card

Owner dashboard with blocked dates, working hours, pause bookings, CSV export and a weekly summary of the work the site handled
