Nine dollars. Twelve times.

A personal, fictional thumbnail study for an imagined finance video, "Why a $9 Subscription Feels Cheaper Than It Is."
The main image puts the annual cost first: twelve $9 charges total $108. Connected receipt paper serves as a visual metaphor for accumulation. The alternative uses an active auto-renew switch to ask whether the recurring charge is still on.
I explored three different concepts, refined the two selected directions and checked the lettering at small feed sizes. The scenes were generated with AI; typography and layouts were composed in editable SVGs. This is a self-directed example, with no commissioned client, published video or measured performance claimed.
