Prior to the redesign, the site presented essential information, but lacked the visual clarity and emotional resonance needed for a behavioral health provider. Key issues included:
Cold, Clinical Aesthetic: The original design leaned too sterile and generic, missing the warmth and empathy that clients and families often seek when looking for mental health services.
Confusing Information Hierarchy: Services and key information were scattered, leading to user frustration and difficulty finding what they needed.
Low Engagement: Sparse imagery, limited calls-to-action, and a rigid layout resulted in a lack of emotional connection and poor conversion potential.
