I built a local SEO NAP consistency checker that compares submitted business details against what a website actually shows in visible text, phone links, contact-page signals, and LocalBusiness schema.

Local SEO depends on trust. If a business website shows one phone number, schema contains another, and third-party listings repeat an old address, search engines and customers both get mixed signals.

Most small businesses do not need a full citation platform just to catch the first layer of inconsistency. They need to know whether their own website is clearly saying the right thing.

The tool is explicit about scope. It does not check Yelp, Google Business Profile, data aggregators, or every directory on the internet. It focuses on the controllable foundation: the business website and schema markup.

This turned a local SEO audit staple into a practical first-pass check for business owners and consultants.
