AI-Driven User Interface Redesign

Project Description:

The 12Min App Redesign and AI Integration project aimed to enhance the user experience and visual appeal of 12Min, a popular educational app that offers microbooks – concise summaries of famous books in less than 12 minutes.

As the lead designer, my role involved redesigning various interfaces and incorporating AI technologies to optimize performance and streamline the design process.

Key objectives of the project included:

1. Improve user engagement and increase the microbook opening rate.
2. Enhance the app's visual identity and overall aesthetic appeal.
3. Integrate AI technologies to optimize interface performance and automate aspects of the design process.

My Approach

To achieve these objectives, I employed a range of design tools and AI technologies, such as Figma for interface design, Midjourney AI for creating assets like illustrations and icons, and ChatGPT AI for generating text and understanding the best way for the interface to perform through specific prompt engineering.

Results

The project resulted in a significant improvement in user engagement, with a 45%+ increase in the microbook opening rate. The successful integration of AI technologies allowed for a more efficient design process and a data-driven approach to optimizing the app's performance.
