In this podcast episode of ME/US/U, I collaborated with fellow classmates Marissa and Bryn to discuss linguistics and jargon. I focused on regionalisms within the United States, such as "sub" versus "hoagie" and northern versus southern slang. How people speak and the words they use is a part of their identities. Within the episode, I interviewed a born-and-raised New Hampshirite who moved to a remote yet touristy southern island, and we discussed her experience with the contrasting ways of living.
