Moskenes (moskenes.io) is a comprehensive asset management web application designed to empower users with advanced scenario planning capabilities. During the development period from March 2020 to June 2021, I played a pivotal role in enhancing the application's functionality, performance, and user experience.
Duration: March 2020 to June 2021
Key Contributions:
Scenario Planning Modules: I implemented new scenario planning modules, including Topdown Planning, Retail Subcategory Planning, and Retail Store Planning. These modules empower users to strategize and simulate various scenarios, fostering better decision-making.
Bug Resolution: I meticulously identified and resolved bugs, ensuring the application's stability and reliability. Through a systematic debugging process, I contributed to a seamless user experience.
API Integration with RxJS and Angular HTTP: Leveraging RxJS and Angular HTTP, I seamlessly integrated external APIs, enriching the application's capabilities. This integration facilitated real-time data retrieval and exchange, enabling users to make informed decisions based on up-to-date information.
Custom Angular Materials Table: I crafted a custom Angular Materials table, optimizing data presentation and interaction. This user-friendly table design streamlined data management and improved overall usability.
JavaScript Calculations: I undertook intricate JavaScript calculations to provide users with accurate and insightful data analyses. These calculations served as the backbone of the scenario planning features, empowering users to perform complex simulations effortlessly. To ensure calculations are accurate I also utilized decimal.js and date-fns library.
Dynamic Graphs Using Domo Phoenix API: Employing the Domo Phoenix API, I developed dynamic and visually appealing graphs, akin to Highcharts. These graphs visually represented data trends, aiding users in comprehending intricate patterns and insights.
Technologies Used: Angular, RxJS, JavaScript, Angular Materials, Domo Phoenix API
By contributing to the development of the Moskenes asset management web application, I not only honed my technical skills but also played a vital role in delivering a powerful tool that empowers businesses to plan, strategize, and make informed decisions.
