Artificial Core (Redesign) | Game Audio Production

This project is a sound design demo I created as a test assignment for Artificial Core, a video game development studio. The goal was to demonstrate my expertise in crafting immersive game audio by producing, editing, and mixing custom sound effects, foley, ambients, and background music.

I aimed to create an immersive and dynamic audio experience that enhances gameplay by blending environmental realism with emotional intensity. The sound design was crafted to support narrative flow, reinforce in-game actions, and immerse players in the game world.

I began by analyzing the video sequence to identify key visual cues requiring sound effects or ambient layers. Next, I evaluated each game environment to understand its unique atmosphere and define the appropriate soundscape. I then produced and synchronized custom sound effects, foley, and environmental ambients to match character actions, combat sequences, and environmental interactions.

To ensure spatial accuracy, I adjusted sound panning to represent the on-screen position of characters and sound sources, creating a realistic 3D audio experience. I selected original background music from my own music library in order to match the narrative pacing and add action intensity. Finally, I mixed and mastered all audio elements, ensuring a polished, immersive, and gameplay-ready sound experience.
