The aim of the movie is to raise the visibility by posting the videos on the Instagram page of that section of the museum, basically to attract clients.
Don't make it into a kink of ad.
The video should have calm and relaxed energy.
Combining different clips to craft a cohesive story by selecting the best moments from the raw footages provided.

The process began by translating French audio to English subtitles for a broader audience.
I had never dealt with French before, so the lesson was quite fascinating and allowed me to deeply appreciate the beauty of this world-famous language. Fortunately, online translators are now highly advanced.
My Video-Editing Process
Working with Raw Footage
The raw footage I worked with was recorded by a regular person without professional filming skills, using a standard phone without stabilization. As a result, the videos were shaky, unsteady, and low in quality, with inconsistent framing due to handheld shooting without a tripod or stabilizer.
🧐Selection & Curation:
I carefully reviewed the raw footage, identifying the best moments and discarding unusable segments to build a foundation for the video.
📹 Stabilization:
I stabilized the shaky footage to remove distracting camera movements and applied enhancement techniques to improve the overall video quality.
🎞️ Seamless Editing & Transitions:
I edited the selected clips into a compelling narrative, using smooth transitions to create a natural and engaging flow.
🎨 Color Grading
Specifically reduced the brightness of acidic red tones to create a more balanced and viewer-friendly color palette.
🔊 Audio Enhancement:
Replaced all raw phone video sounds with high-quality sound effects from audio stock libraries.
📱 Platform Optimization:
Tailored the Reels for Instagram’s specifications, ensuring optimal dimensions, resolution, and file size.

Client Collaboration & Revisions:
Actively collaborated with the client throughout the editing process to ensure their vision and goals remained the priority.
Incorporated feedback and made revisions to refine the video until it perfectly aligned with their expectations.

In this project, I transformed raw, shaky footage into polished Instagram Reels for the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium. Using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro I stabilized the footage, enhanced colors (reducing acidic red tones for better viewer perception), and replaced raw audio with premium sound effects to create a relaxing atmosphere. I collaborated closely with the client, incorporating their feedback to ensure the final video met their expectations. The Reels were fully optimized for Instagram, including translated captions for broader accessibility.
