The urban coffee shop, strategically positioned along
an emblematic and lively boulevard of Belouizdad in Algiers (Algeria),
encapsulates the essence of the entire architectural project with its
emphasis on folds, lines, and surfaces.
Distinct zones based on furniture arrangement, the aim
was to create varied atmospheres within the same space.
Some zones provide framed views of the boulevard, while
others cultivate a warmer ambiance, especially through
the use of wood that brings a sense of warmth to the lofty
space.
Additionally, the presence of vegetation breaks the
urban feel and adds a refreshing touch to the environment.
With its two entrances—one opening onto the boulevard
and the other connecting to the stairs—the coffee
shop seamlessly integrates with the street, fostering a
harmonious blend with the urban surroundings. The overall
design follows a clean and refined style, drawing inspiration
from Scandinavian aesthetics for a contemporary look.
