Between 2021 and 2023, I was part of the “Roxinha era” at HBO Max Brasil & LATAM, working on always-on social campaigns that kept the brand present in people’s daily conversations.
My role combined creative ideation and concept development, bringing ideas for posts, campaigns, and stunts, with hands-on design and motion execution.
From teaser videos and launch assets to reactive posts and fun cultural moments, I helped shape the creative approach and visual language of each piece, making sure they matched the brand’s tone and the fast rhythm of social media.

Subtitle-driven Videos (Kinetic Text)​​​​​​​ A major part of the content involved working with iconic movie and series scenes, adding animated captions and typographic compositions that highlight quotes or enhance emotional beats. These subtitles weren’t just informative: they were part of the visual identity.
New Content Announcements I also created visual assets to announce new titles coming to the platform, combining bold animated text, transitions, and visual motifs that matched each genre or title. These assets helped maintain brand consistency while keeping the audience excited and informed.
100% Motion-Based Videos Some pieces were fully animated from scratch, no footage, just motion. These ranged from character-based promos to stylized social explainers. I handled the design, animation, and post-production for these assets inside After Effects, sometimes using Premiere and Photoshop for support.
These were some of the motion applications we created for HBO Max’s social media, showing how design, creativity, and animation can bring campaigns to life in different ways. Hope you enjoyed exploring the Roxinha era as much as we enjoyed creating it.
