Y-Verify | AI-Powered Audit & Compliance Management System

Y-Verify is an enterprise audit and compliance management platform used by 500+ users across distributed audit operations. It helps organizations conduct, track, and manage audits across multiple physical sites — replacing manual, fragmented processes with a standardized, location-aware system.

Audit teams use it to create and manage audit templates, perform field inspections, capture geolocation-tagged data, track compliance findings, and generate reports. The platform standardizes audit processes across teams and scales across large distributed operations.

I led frontend development and contributed to backend implementation as part of a small engineering team over a 3-month freelance engagement.

Built the core application features and workflows in Next.js, React, and TypeScript — including audit management interfaces, compliance tracking views, and the location-aware audit workflows that field auditors use on-site. Designed and implemented the UI for complex enterprise workflows involving permissions, approval chains, and multi-site audit management.

A significant part of this work was translating real-world compliance requirements into product experiences that were actually usable in the field, not just technically correct.

Integrated Google Maps Platform and geolocation services into the audit workflow. Auditors needed to record locations accurately, verify site visits, and manage audits across multiple physical locations — all from a mobile-friendly interface. The challenge was building location-aware UX that stayed performant and usable in field conditions.

Built AI-assisted audit template generation to reduce the manual effort of creating new audits from scratch. The core challenge was generating audit structures that compliance teams could use immediately, consistent with existing processes, without requiring manual cleanup. This significantly reduced audit setup time for teams managing large template libraries.

Contributed to backend APIs and business logic built on NestJS, supporting the audit data model, compliance workflows, and reporting features. Also supported deployment, production readiness, and operations.
