PineSpire Platform (Successful Acquisition)

PineSpire helped companies participate in Clean Fuel Programs and earn revenue from carbon credits. I led the technical build of their energy and carbon-credit platform — a custom web application, quarterly ETL pipelines, and an electrification planning tool for fleet operators — plus a custom metering solution (hardware, firmware, IoT, and reporting) to meet new regulatory metering requirements.

PineSpire was acquired by Xpansiv in fall 2024. I went on to lead the migration of all PineSpire data and services into Xpansiv's systems.

PineSpire was unsure the best way to present a wealth of information about their customers electric vehicle fleets.

Develop a thoughtfully designed application organized around key services that PineSpire provides.

This resulted in a platform that allows customers to

View and manage their electric vehicle fleet

Explore revenue and usage data related to their fleet through a series of interactive reports

Run different analysis scenarios that help a customer understand the best way to electrify their non-electric vehicle fleet based on their priorities
