this is an example of a concept I have applied in several video edits: 1.78 aspect ratio portrait orientation (TT & IG reel format) base video mirrored into a square orientation presentation

it doesn’t work with every base video, but with some, especially dance, it creates a cool synergy effect with movement seemingly flowing between & emerging from the mirrored halves

to keep with the “blue water” theme I used a matching intro/outro still and tweaked the colors of a video I took myself at a beach to get the dark blue water with purple wave foam effect
