Over the weekend, I started exploring the 3-Point Lighting System in photography and practiced setting it up in Blender.
Using a practice tire model, I focused on learning proper lighting techniques while building a clean product shot with a simple backdrop, platform, and three area lights for the key, fill, and rim lights to highlight the tire’s form and edges. I also experimented with the Compositor to add a subtle glare effect using the Fog Glow node.
💡 I’ll continue practicing lighting setups to improve realism and consistency, and plan to dive into the 5-Point Lighting System next weekend.
