The project

Smart Bricks is an AI platform for real-estate investing, backed by a16z speedrun. I led the frontend architecture and built it hands-on, reviewed the team's pull requests and mentored newer engineers.

What I built

Rebuilt the valuation and score modals so investors could see why a property got its price and score.
Moved data fetching to the server with the Next.js App Router, reworked client caching, and split the property pages into separate server-rendered sections.
Built the component library in Storybook and kept it in sync with the Figma designs.
Set up PostHog and Grafana for funnels, feature flags and error tracking, so new features shipped behind a flag.
