Kvdcars.com is Sweden's largest marketplace for used cars, with 26,000 vehi- cles sold annually. The platform's architecture is built on a Kubernetes cluster with over 70 microservices written in Python, and a React frontend featuring an advanced Redux state management structure. I worked across the entire stack, helping the client deliver new features and improvements. One of my key responsibilities was refactoring the checkout page to support the client's transition to selling fixed-price cars. This involved not only fron- tend adjustments but also contributing to the backend by implementing new email functionalities using Emarsys and Python microservices.
I ensured the quality of these updates by writing tests with pytest and unittest libraries. Additionally, with the introduction of fixed-price cars, I was tasked with de- veloping a new filtering structure for the site. The filter page, being one of the most critical components for users, required a comprehensive overhaul. I led the development of the new filter page view using React and Redux, and I wrote a new set of test cases using React Testing Library and Jest to ensure high-quality, reliable code.
At Kvdcars.com, I worked full-stack, refactoring the checkout page for fixed-price cars and developing a new filter structure using React, Redux, and Python.
