Noirspace is a dark-mode portfolio template built with Framer for creative designers and freelancers. The goal was to create something any creative could pick up, add their content, and publish a polished portfolio site without writing code.
The Challenge
Most portfolio templates play it safe with light backgrounds and neutral layouts. I wanted to explore how a dark-mode interface could make a designer's work pop while still feeling professional and easy to navigate. The template needed to be modular enough for different creative disciplines while maintaining a strong visual identity.
Approach
Dark primary palette with red accents for strong contrast and visual impact
Geist Mono paired with Manrope for a balance of creative personality and readability
Clean composition with subtle motion and modular sections
Designed key pages: home, project listing, project detail, and 404
Fully responsive across desktop and mobile
The Solution
Full Template
Project Listing
Project Detail
404 Page
The result is a template that lets creative work take center stage. The dark interface creates natural contrast against project imagery, while the modular layout adapts to any creative discipline.
