Oyster's reach was restricted without a seamless embedded hiring solution, and growth opportunities were limited. The complexity of authentication, authorization, and API provisioning further slowed expansion efforts. The manual setup process also created bottlenecks, delaying onboarding and reducing efficiency.
The problem for Partners Oyster’s HRIS, ATS, PEO, and EOR partners was that they lacked a simple way to offer global hiring capabilities within their platforms. This meant their customers could not hire remote employees directly from their systems, limiting their competitiveness and forcing them to seek external solutions. Additionally, partners struggled with compliance complexities and localization issues, preventing them from efficiently scaling global employment offerings.
