The challenge AI-assisted development becomes harder to maintain when repository instructions drift away from the actual project. Teams need useful setup guidance without losing their handwritten rules.

What I built An open-source Python CLI that generates repository instructions and runbooks, preserves existing handwritten content, and checks for stale command references. It also supports optional context bundles and a pull-request guard.

Product decisions Keep the initial setup lightweight. Make updates reviewable. Separate configuration checks from proof that a command succeeds. Preserve the developer’s existing rules rather than silently replacing them.

Delivered A public tool with installation documentation, reproducible demos and CI integration. The project shows how I connect product thinking, AI-assisted development and practical workflow design.
