Finding a hotel is easy. Finding a trustworthy PG is not. I built StayHubHome: one platform where travellers book hotels and students and professionals book PGs, while property owners manage everything from their own dashboard.

StayHubHome is a live booking marketplace for hotels mmodation) across India, at stayhubhome.in. It servesthree groups:

Guests search, compare and book hotels for overnight or day-use stays, or find a PG by gender, sharing type and budget.

Property owners list their hotel or PG for free prices and bookings from a partner dashboard.

The StayHubHome team reviews every property before it goes live and runs the whole marketplace from an admin panel.

Hotel and PG bookings in India are still largely offline: phone calls, WhatsApp messages and walk-ins. PGs are especially hard, because availability changes bed by bed, not room by ms only handle hotels.

The goal was one marketplace that:

Handles both hotels (booked by the night) and PGs (ed)

Lets guests pay online or pay at the property

Gives owners a simple way to list and manage their fee

Keeps quality high, with every listing and change reviewed before it goes live

Supports a commission model that works for both onlngs

As lead full-stack developer, I designed and built St the database and payments to the guest-facing UI.

Hotel search and booking: Search by destination and day-use stays, filters for price, star rating,guest rating and pay-at-hotel, room options, add-ons, and a clear booking flow.

PG search and bed-level booking: PGs filtered b by sharing type (single, double, triple, dormitory).Availability is tracked per bed, so guests only see beds that are actually free.

Payments: Razorpay for online payments, plus a PDF invoices for every booking.

Partner dashboard: Owners list properties and manage rooms, individual PG beds, prices and bookings. Edits to a live listing go through a change-request flow, so nothing goes live u

Admin panel: Property approvals, change-request reviews, bookings, users, offers, travel packages and site settings, all in one place.

Commission system: Supports two pricing models: commission added on top of the owner's net rate, or taken from the final price. Pay-at-hotel bookings are tracked as commission owed

Guest features: Wishlists, reviews, offers and promo codes, and email notifications.

Security and roles: Role-based access for supernd receptionists, rate limiting, sanitised usercontent, and secure password reset by email.
