The Problem

Instagram creators and agencies managing multiple accounts were buried in tabs. Reach analytics in one tool. Engagement tracking in another. Scheduling through a third. DM lead management through the app itself. No single view of what was working, what was dying, and where the revenue opportunities were hiding.
The client needed one dashboard that pulled everything together: content performance, audience engagement, post scheduling, and DM-based lead capture across multiple Instagram accounts.

What I Built

A centralized content operations hub purpose-built for Instagram creators and agencies managing reach, engagement, scheduling, and DM leads from one interface.
Core features:
Multi-Account Dashboard: Unified view across multiple Instagram accounts. Switch between accounts without logging in and out. See performance metrics, scheduled posts, and active DM conversations for every account in one place.
Content Performance Analytics: Real-time tracking of reach, impressions, engagement rate, saves, shares, and follower growth. Trend analysis showing which content formats (Reels, carousels, stories, static posts) drive the most engagement per account.
Smart Scheduling Engine: AI-assisted scheduling that recommends optimal posting times based on historical engagement data. Bulk scheduling for content batches. Calendar view with drag-and-drop rescheduling.
DM Lead Management: Automated DM monitoring that flags high-intent messages (pricing questions, collaboration requests, service inquiries). Lead scoring based on follower count, engagement history, and message content. Pipeline view for tracking DM conversations from first message to closed deal.
AI Content Suggestions: Content topic recommendations based on trending hashtags, competitor analysis, and the account's top-performing post patterns. Caption generation with tone matching for each brand voice.

The Tech Stack

Frontend: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL) for data storage and real-time subscriptions
AI Layer: OpenAI API for content suggestions, caption generation, and lead scoring
APIs: Instagram Graph API and Instagram Basic Display API for account data
Deployment: Vercel

How It Works in Practice

A creator with 3 Instagram accounts logs in and sees a unified dashboard. Their top-performing Reel from last week is highlighted with engagement breakdown. Two DMs flagged as high-intent leads are waiting in the pipeline. Tomorrow's scheduled posts are visible in the calendar with predicted engagement scores.
They click into the DM pipeline, see a brand collaboration request scored at 87/100 (high follower count, previous engagement with similar creators), and respond directly from the hub. No switching apps. No lost context.

The Result

The client went from managing content across 4 separate tools to one platform. Content planning, performance tracking, scheduling, and lead management all happen in the same workspace. The AI suggestions surface content opportunities they were previously missing because the data was scattered across disconnected dashboards.
