Challenge & Scope

FlowFi already had an active Framer site when I joined the project. The challenge was not to start from scratch, but to bring structure, scalability, and long-term maintainability to an existing production build that was growing quickly.
The team needed a system that would allow multiple people to publish new pages, manage content, and expand the site without breaking design consistency or performance.

Approach & Implementation

CMS Architecture & Scalability

I reworked the CMS structure to better support future growth. This included separating concerns between page content, reusable sections, and shared metadata — enabling FlowFi to scale content without duplicating layouts or introducing inconsistencies.

Layout & Typography Refactor

I audited and refactored the existing layout and type system, aligning spacing, grid behavior, and typographic hierarchy across the site. This created a more coherent visual system and eliminated many of the small inconsistencies that had accumulated over time.

Section & Component Library

To support non-designers on the team, I built a growing library of reusable Framer sections and components. These allow anyone on the team to assemble new pages quickly while staying within the design system.

Working in a Live Product

All improvements were introduced incrementally inside a live production environment, ensuring zero disruption to ongoing publishing while the internal structure of the site was upgraded.

Results & Ongoing Impact

CMS restructured for scalable content publishing
Layout and typography unified across the site
Reusable section and component system enabling team-wide page creation
Production site continuously improved without downtime

Working with Lauri has been awesome. He works fast, has great style, and has made helpful suggestions along the way!

The FlowFi project is an ongoing collaboration focused on turning Framer into a true content platform, not just a page builder.
