Introduction:
The Invest in Dubai (IID) project was a monumental step towards simplifying the business setup process in Dubai. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, my role was pivotal in developing a user-friendly, one-stop-shop portal that integrates licensing, account creation, residency management, and more, using a tech stack that includes TypeScript, Vue.js, Vuex, and more.
Role and Responsibilities:
Integrated various APIs for seamless data flow
Ensured a responsive design for accessibility on all devices
Performance optimizations to enhance user experience and loading times

Our main goal was to facilitate the investment process in Dubai, making it more accessible and efficient for investors worldwide.
Process and Implementation:
Utilizing a robust tech stack, we developed a comprehensive platform that supports investors from initial inquiry to full business operation in Dubai. My contribution focused on frontend development, emphasizing performance, user experience and interface design.
Outcome and Results:
The platform significantly simplified the investment process, leading to a 25% increase in license issuance within the first quarter of its launch and generating AED 221 million in profit. Additionally, it played a crucial role in reducing customer service tickets.
