I edited the opening episodes of Industrialized’s first season and developed a visual identity for the new podcast. The work included custom intros, branded motion compositions, picture and audio improvements, and short clips selected from the longer conversations.

Project at a glance
Brand: Industrialized
My role: Podcast editing, motion design, audio cleanup, and clip selection
Delivered: Edited episodes, custom intros, and social clips
The brief
The podcast needed a recognizable presentation from its first episodes. Each conversation also needed an opening that suited the guest and topic. I worked on both the series identity and the editorial decisions that shape the experience of watching an individual episode.
Editing decisions
Build an opening around each episode
I created custom intros and motion compositions from scratch. Each opening introduced its episode within the podcast’s visual identity, with music selected to fit the material and the tone of the brand.
Shape the conversation through shot selection
I chose shots around the speakers’ delivery, presence, and meaning. I tightened pauses and less useful passages, then cleaned and balanced the voices so changes in pacing did not make the conversation harder to follow.
Prepare the footage for a consistent presentation
I improved the recordings and prepared Full HD versions, then selected moments for social promotion. The long episode and its shorter extracts needed to feel connected, while each clip still had to communicate a useful idea on its own.
What I delivered
The project brought together episode editing, a new motion identity, custom openings, and social extracts. The featured conversations with Andrew Staniforth and Morgan McLachlan show how the approach adapts to different guests and topics.
