SERA No. 01 — a fictional fragrance campaign
Brief: Build a distinctive visual campaign for an imagined independent fragrance brand, translating one product idea into social graphics and promotional motion. This is self-directed portfolio work, not a paid client launch.
Exploration: Three directions tested different eye paths: Sculptural Dusk, Overhead Ritual and Nocturne Detail. Sculptural Dusk was selected for its clear bottle silhouette, curved paper form and usable headline space. The dramatic close-up was rejected as the hero because it left less room for messaging and changed the bottle proportions.
Final system: Warm ivory, aubergine and amber; Cormorant Garamond with Inter; three 1080 × 1350 posts with distinct compositions. The overhead post changes the viewpoint; the split layout changes the balance of product imagery and typography.
Production: Codex assisted with art direction, image prompts, layout and motion authoring. Product imagery was created with OpenAI image generation. Figma holds editable typography and layout layers; the product images remain raster assets. Higgsedit supplies layered reveals, text animation and panel transitions for the 12-second portrait film. The motion study is intentionally silent.
Review: Corrected thin-font rendering and headline spacing, checked full-resolution exports and motion frames. These are invented product visuals, not photography of a manufactured perfume or production-ready packaging. No client, sales, conversion, formulation or trademark-clearance claims are made.
