Leather Legacy: Midjourney AI Experiments

Exploring the raw power of early Midjourney AI through leather fashion. This project is a visual archive of my experiments with older versions of Midjourney, focused on generating bold, tactile leather jackets and luxury handbags. Using the early iterations of the tool, I pushed the boundaries of texture, lighting, and material realism — from distressed biker leather with heavy stitching and metal hardware to sleek structured bags with rich grain and metallic accents. The goal was to capture the rebellious spirit of leather outerwear and the quiet sophistication of designer bags. These generations showcase Midjourney’s evolving ability to render realistic leather sheen, creases, rivets, zippers, and chain details, even with the limitations and unique artifacts of older model versions.
