This project focused on creating a personalised, story-driven TikTok-style UGC Meta ad for The Protein Pancake that felt authentic, conversational, and native to short-form social feeds. The goal was to position the product naturally through relatable lifestyle storytelling rather than overly direct selling.

Strategy & Creative Direction

The strategy centred around creating a piece of content that felt like a genuine part of someone’s daily routine rather than a traditional ad.
The creative direction leaned into:
Conversational storytelling
Lifestyle-focused visuals
TikTok-native pacing
Soft-sell product positioning
A clean, aspirational “healthy routine” aesthetic
Key creative decisions included:
Using a personalised creator-style hook to stop scroll naturally
Combining talking-to-camera moments with aesthetic food B-roll
Highlighting product benefits organically within the story
Structuring the edit to feel native to TikTok and Instagram feeds
Keeping the pacing fast and engaging to maximise retention
Research into high-performing TikTok-style UGC ads informed the scripting, pacing, framing, and editing style throughout the project.
