After modifying the stock visuals, I wrote a script, storyboarded, animated the entire video, and added some sound FX.
As a part of my interview for a motion designer position, I created this small imaginary explainer video.
As a visual basis, I took a stock interface of a mobile application and modified it quite a bit to fit my needs. Afterward, I developed a script, generated a voiceover, added some sound FX, created the storyboard, and finally animated the visuals.
Creating a full video from scratch is always really insightful. It helps to solidify further your understanding of both how video production works and the problems that it tries to solve.
