Developed as an individual client fashion collection project. This collection explores the theatrical world of performance, emotion, and dramatic storytelling through fashion. Inspired by stage productions, vintage costumes, and expressive silhouettes, the project translates theatrical narratives into a contemporary fashion collection. Every stage—from research and concept development to mood boards, illustrations, textile exploration, and final garments—was carefully curated to create a cohesive visual story.

The challenge was to capture the emotional richness and visual drama of theatre while transforming historical references into a modern, wearable collection. Maintaining a consistent narrative across research, color direction, materials, silhouettes, and final designs required balancing creativity with a clear design language throughout the entire development process.

This concept board explores the duality between a theatre artist's inner emotions and outward persona. Through layered textures, expressive imagery, and contrasting visual elements, it captures the constant tension between vulnerability and performance. These explorations later informed the collection's textile direction, surface treatments, and overall visual narrative.

This development phase focuses on material experimentation, draping studies, texture exploration, and rough fashion illustrations. Each experiment contributed to refining the collection's narrative and informed the final garment designs.
