Vertical Video Creation for Catawiki

Catawiki is an online auction platform specialising in rare items and collectibles. I worked on a range of vertical videos for Instagram and TikTok — short-form edits that showcased unique items or explored the stories behind them, like the iconic “Moon Watch.”

These projects combined editing, motion graphics, and UI-style rebuilds. The style was constantly evolving, which kept the work fresh and creatively rewarding. From limited-edition Pokémon cards to F1 memorabilia and rare designer pieces, each item came with its own character and story.

A part of the fun was the challenge, often working with limited resources and tight deadlines. Not always a great recipe, but an undeniable part of the job, that its better to accept and embrace than rage against.

My favourite by far was the Moon Watch film — a piece that celebrated the Omega Speedmaster, the first watch worn on the moon. As a space nerd, getting to dive into the history, precision, and design legacy of such an iconic object made it one of the most enjoyable projects I've worked on.
