Human by Design | Behind the Film
Obinna Ukanwoke
Human by Design
A behind-the-scenes look at Human by Design, exploring the creative process behind an emotion-first cinematic short film. From visual direction and pacing to sound design and color, every choice was shaped to support the story.
The concept
The film follows an editor working through fatigue while a cup of coffee takes shape alongside the creative process. When both reach completion, the editor returns to the work with renewed focus.
Creative direction
Envato stock assets formed the starting point. I shaped the final story through shot selection, pacing, sound design, and color progression, building individual clips into one cohesive film.
