Original portfolio application
LEV (Logistics, Equipment, Verification) explores how a surgical-operations team could track case readiness, equipment, checklists, and activity in one place. I built it as an original software development project using synthetic data.
Beyond the interface
The React and TypeScript frontend connects to a server API and a relational Cloudflare D1 database. Drizzle ORM and SQL migrations define the data layer. Cloudflare Workers runs the backend.
Application behavior
The API validates input and enforces role-aware write permissions. Readiness rules prevent a case from moving to ready while required checks remain unresolved. When assigned equipment becomes unavailable, dependent readiness evidence is invalidated.
A safe public demo
Anonymous visitors can explore a browser-session sandbox; direct anonymous writes to shared database records are rejected. All people, procedures, cases, equipment, and facilities are synthetic. This is a non-clinical portfolio application, not a tool for patient care or surgical-device control.
What this demonstrates
Frontend implementation, API design, relational data modeling, server-side validation and authorization, business rules, and deployment—not just a static dashboard.
