In May 2025, while staying at an Airbnb in my hometown of Cali, I met Manuel, the owner of Hostee, the company managing my stay. After a few conversations, he asked me to design and develop Hostee’s new website with two goals: modernize the brand and improve the booking experience.

We focused on reducing friction. Right after the hero section, we implemented a custom booking component that cuts steps and speeds up conversions. Our approach used design as a competitive advantage in a market where many overlook UX, from the first impression on the site to the final booking flow.

This project took about 2 to 3 months, working closely with Manuel and their marketing agency.
