Improve how Google finds and understands a local plumbing business website.
After a website migration, conflicting page addresses and outdated routes were creating indexing problems. My role was focused technical improvement, not designing the client’s website or claiming ownership of its brand.
I standardized canonical page addresses, cleaned up the sitemap and legacy routes, repaired internal linking, and checked how Googlebot could access the pages.
Dated production checks documented consistent page addresses, a cleaned sitemap, and correct responses for current and retired pages. No traffic, ranking, revenue, or lead-growth increase is claimed.
Tools and methods: Google Search Console, Replit, sitemap validation, redirects, and Googlebot response checks.
