Edits on Novel

I edited a fiction novel about men's mental health. It's prose-heavy and lyrically written. I had the pleasure to review this book by focusing on a number of things: pacing, sentence structure, grammar, punctuation, flow, and accuracy. The author needed help with rewording, which I was able to do by highlighting the areas that I had suggestions on. Dialogue was another aspect that the writer needed help with, and dialogue can be tricky, so we worked together to find what best fits for this novel and the message it wanted to send its audience.
